چکیده
We present a comprehensive study of the massive binary system HM1~8, based on multi-epoch high resolution spectroscopy, $V$-band photometry and archival X-ray data. Spectra from OWN Survey, optical monitoring Southern O WN stars, are used to analyse spectral morphology perform quantitative spectroscopic analysis both stellar components. The primary secondary components classified as O4.5~IV(f) O9.7~V, respectively. From radial-velocity (RV) we derived set orbital parameters for system. found an eccentric orbit ($e=0.14 \pm 0.01$) with period $P = 5.87820 0.00008$~days. Through simultaneous RVs light curve inclination $70.0^{\circ} 2.0$ masses $M_a=33.6^{+1.4}_{-1.2}~\text{M}_{\sun}$ primary, $M_b=17.7^{+0.5}_{-0.7}~\text{M}_{\sun}$ secondary. show projected rotational velocities $v_1\sin{i}=105 14~\text{km~s}^{-1}$ $v_2\sin{i}=82 15~\text{km~s}^{-1}$, A tidal evolution is also performed be in agreement characteristics. Finally, available observations no evidence colliding winds region, therefore emission attributed winds.

Accurate fundamental parameters of eclipsing binary stars
The study of detached eclipsing binaries is one of the most powerful ways to investigate the properties of individual stars and stellar systems. We present preliminary masses, radii and effective temperatures for the eclipsing binary WWAurigae, which is composed of two metallic-lined A-type stars. We also reanalyse the data on HD23642, an A-type eclipsing binary member of the Pleiades open clus...
متن کاملTowards an Accurate Determination of Parameters for Very Massive Stars: the Eclipsing Binary LMC-SC1-105
This paper presents a photometric and spectroscopic study of the bright blue eclipsing binary LMC-SC1-105, selected from the OGLE catalog as a candidate host of very massive stars (≥ 30M⊙). The system is found to be a doublelined spectroscopic binary, which indeed contains massive stars. The masses and radii of the components are M1 = 30.9 ± 1.0 M⊙, M2 = 13.0 ± 0.7 M⊙, and R1 = 15.1 ± 0.2 R⊙, R...
متن کاملFundamental Parameters of Massive Stars
We discuss the determination of fundamental parameters of ‘normal’ hot, massive OB-type stars, namely temperatures, luminosities, masses, gravities and surface abundances. We also present methods used to derive properties of stellar winds – mass-loss rates and wind velocities from early-type stars.
متن کاملParameters for the Eclipsing B - star Binary HD 42401
I present results from an optical spectroscopic investigation of the binary system HD 42401 (V1388 Ori; B2.5 IV-V + B3 V). A combined analysis of V−band photometry and radial velocities indicates that the system has an orbital period of 2.18706 ± 0.00005 days and an inclination of 75.5 ± 0.2 degrees. This solution yields masses and radii of M1 = 7.42 ± 0.08 M⊙ and R1 = 5.60 ± 0.04 R⊙ for the pr...
متن کاملFirst Determination of the Distance and Fundamental Properties of an Eclipsing Binary in the Andromeda Galaxy1,2
We present the first detailed spectroscopic and photometric analysis of an eclipsing binary in the Andromeda Galaxy (M31). This is a 19.3-mag semi-detached system with components of late-O and early-B spectral types. From the light and radial velocity curves we have carried out an accurate determination of the masses and radii of the components. Their effective temperatures have been estimated ...
